Major growth of verified Members of Congress since my last canvas. I’ve added every new account with a house.gov or senate.gov domain: go.bsky.app/NayCkCo I haven’t made time to contact offices to verify more bsky.social handles or check social media yet, but that will be a worthy task, someday.

Senator @amyklobuchar.com shared that she now has a personal/campaign Bluesky account over on Threads. I added her to my Members of Congress starter pack: go.bsky.app/NayCkCo NB: @amyklobuchar.bsky.social is an impersonation, & is labeled as such.

The Senate Majority Leader joined Bluesky. He did it right: authenticated account @schumer.senate.gov & a tweet through his verified Twitter account. I added him to my starter pack of Members of Congress. (If Senator Featurephone can do it, so can the rest of the Members.) go.bsky.app/NayCkCo

The office of @repraskin.bsky.social confirmed that account is official. They’re working on making it @raskin.house.gov. I added to my starter pack of Members of Congress on @bsky.app: go.bsky.app/NayCkCo I’ll need to make a list when there are 150 of them here, which could happen quickly.

I just added more Members of Congress to this starter pack: go.bsky.app/NayCkCo …which will need to be a list. I found @tedlieu.bsky.social has an official account @reptedlieu.bsky.social but it’s not verified as lieu.house.gov yet. @schatz.bsky.social is back. @corybooker.bsky.social is not.

I made a starter pack of Members of Congress, for anyone interested: go.bsky.app/NayCkCo Only a few have an official account connected with their .gov website, which should be the standard we expect for verified ID. AOC may be the only member who has @aoc.bsky.social & @ocasio-cortez.house.gov
